If Superman were me would he be able to survive?
Could he face what I face everyday without his superpowers?
I would gladly face the foes he faces even as myself, than struggle with the monumental task set before me.
Superpowers will not protect you from the villans I face, their methods are much more trecherous than the muscle or machine Superman must battle.
The foes I face are not purely evil and are not so easily spotted. Some attack from within after they have infiltrated your defenses. They know your weekness and where to strike.
If it were as simple as punching through walls or battling hundreds of demons or leaping tall buildings in a single bound. I wish to trade my problems for those.
So if you are out there Superman please stop by and I will trade my villans for yours, I will fight your battles and you can climb against my uphill struggles.

Lullaby...

Close your eyes...
Close your eyes sweet baby and dream of me,
Close your eyes sweet baby my love for you will always be.
Close your eyes sweet baby to the moons lullaby as he whispers sweet dreams to you in the night.
Close your eyes sweet baby to the twinkling stars as you lye safe and secure in my arms.
Close your eyes sweet baby and dream of me,
Close your eyes sweet baby my love for you will always be.
Close your eyes sweet baby as the angles look down and gaze at the beauty in you I've found.
Close you eyes sweet baby as I kiss you good night and thank the heavens for the joy you brought to my life
Close your eyes sweet baby and dream of me,
Close your eyes sweet baby my love for you will always be.
Close your eyes sweet baby and remember I love you,
Close your eyes sweet baby I know that you love me too.
I started writing this when my youngest daughter was only a couple months old. She was very sick and for a short time we didn't know if we would loose her or not. I didn't finish it until two years ago she got sick again over Christmas. Her and I share a birthday and it's coming up. She has been an amazing gift in my life just as all my children have.

Sad Monkey..

For anyone that normaly reads my blog I'm sorry there hasn't been anything good lately. Not that I'm to sure there was anything good to begin with.
In anycase I have been in the dumps. The old saying, "When it rains it poors." could not be more true. I'm sure a ray of sunshine will shine through soon. We'll just have to wait and see. Wish me luck.

Super Hero...

I don't think there is any person out there that at one point in their life didn't want to be a super hero. We think of all the cool things we could do and how much fun it would be. Well we are all probably wrong. Just think about when you were a kid and couldn't wait to become an adult. Man no one was going to tell you what you could or couldn't do, I can stay up late, eat whatever I want. Being an adult was going to be so cool! Now we all want to be 8 again. Because when you were 8 you could be a super hero or anything else you wanted to be. If you wanted to put on a cowboy hat a red towel for a cape and yellow gym shorts and step out the front door to face the world, well no cared and it was ok. Let me tell you after a certain age people start to care when you do stuff like that.
I don't want to be a super hero anymore. Being me is a pretty tough job sometimes. Don't get me wrong, I really like being me. I have the best kids in the world, my girlfriend couldn't be a more amazing person even if I had wished for it. I'm also not incredibly hideous either. So being me is not so bad but it's not easy. And I'm sure everyone can say the same. So if anyone offers you the opportunity to strap a nuclear powered rocket to your back and tells you to go save the world...take a couple seconds to think it through before you do. (But if you do strap that puppy on, drop me a note and tell me how it was.)

Following your own advice...

You ever do something really stupid and wish you could turn back the clock? (I know we all have).
Well you can't go back but you can learn from you mistakes and not make them again and hope the people you care about can forgive your stupidity.
When people tell me about stuff like this and ask me what to do I usually tell them to suck it up admit when they're wrong and deal with the consequences. The advice is much easier to give than it is to take even from yourself.
I think this little piece of "Monkey Wisdom" is appropriate here:
" Better to be thought a fool, than to open your mouth and prove it."

Time off...

It's been a little while since I posted anything (not that anyone is reading this) but for the sake that someone might run across this here we go.
Life has been busy, family stuff, wanting to spend as much time as I can with my girlfriend. And trying to spend time with the kids. Anyway, life goes on.
I don't really have much to say except the price of gas is outragous. Thank you Mr. President! And for the people that think he has nothing to do with it I say "Wake up and smell the BS!"
It's only going to get worse people.
Here is a piece of monkey wisdom,
"If the grass is greener on the other side, someone spread allot of crap to make it that way."

I can draw
My first Blog...

Well this is my first blog (that should be obvious because of the title). I'm not sure what I will put on here but hopefully it will be interesting.
As you can tell I am a style KING! The double buckle belt is rock'n. But nothing says style like those white buckle shoes. Oh, if only I had that kind of fashion sense now.
